Former Auditor-General Urges Focus on Effective Prosecution
Former Auditor-General, Daniel Yaw Domelevo, has cautioned against hastening the prosecution of corruption-related cases without proper investigation and effective prosecution.
"My worry is not about the speed going into the courtroom, my worry is about when we arrive at the courtroom what next? Because from my point of view, the legal framework must change to facilitate the early completion of these cases,"
He emphasized the importance of quality outcomes in judicial processes, using the right legal framework, over the speed at which cases are sent to court.
